Ohio Doors and Windows.
An installation contractor built around one idea: do one scope, do it predictably, and make GCs' lives easier.
Why this company exists.
Ohio Doors and Windows started with six years of doing it the hard way. Owner Ahmed Elbagory ran a direct-to-homeowner contracting business across Northeast Ohio — the kind of operation where every job begins with a sales call and every estimate is a two-hour living-room pitch. The work was real, the craftsmanship was real, but the sales cycle was brutal. Bidding against bigger window companies that could outspend on advertising. Chasing leads that ghosted. Managing homeowner expectations on everything from trim color to grid pattern.
The turning point was a sub-contract job for a Cleveland GC: install eighteen windows on a multi-family retrofit. No homeowner meetings. No upsell pressure. No design consult. Just a scope, a schedule, and a clean install. The GC paid on time, the project wrapped under deadline, and there wasn't a single “while you're here, could you also...” conversation. That job answered a question that had been nagging for years: what if installation was the whole business, not the last step of a sales process?
Ohio Doors and Windows is built around that answer. We sub for general contractors, builders, and property managers across the Cleveland–Akron–Canton corridor. Material decisions are already made by the time we walk on site. The specs are drawn. The schedule is set. Our job is to install the scope correctly, on time, and keep the project moving — so the GC looks good and the crew stays booked.
The model also solves the other problem most installation crews have: seasonal feast-or-famine. Routing work across a half-dozen GC partners instead of waiting for homeowner leads keeps the schedule full through the winter slowdown and the spring rush alike. Crews stay on the truck. Routes stay short. People take home consistent paychecks fifty-two weeks a year.

Ahmed Elbagory
Founder & owner
Ahmed has spent the last six years contracting across Northeast Ohio — first as a direct-to-homeowner remodeler, more recently as a sub-installer for GCs. The shift to sub-contracting is what convinced him to start Ohio Doors and Windows: more time on the tools, less time in the truck driving to estimate appointments that don't close.
Day to day, Ahmed bids the jobs, walks the sites, runs payroll, and answers the phone when the install hits a snag at 4pm on a Friday. He's on the truck most weeks and at the jobwalk on every project larger than ten units. The pitch from him is the same every time: tell us the scope, give us the deadline, and we'll get it installed clean — without a single conversation about whether you should have specced a different brand.
